Meet the team

Paislie
Hi, my name is Paislie Reid and I've worked for the Youth Engagement Team for almost 3 years now. My main responsibilities are supporting the Youth Advisory Group in the South Central district, delivering training to groups of young people and working with the Youth Service BME forum.
I also work with the team to run the Youth Council and events throughout the year such as Question Time, supporting young people to participate in debates and have their say on issues in their community.
The things I enjoy most as a member of the Youth Engagement Team are promoting participation, meeting different young people from all over the city, finding new and innovative ways to deliver sessions and taking part in different types of training available.
Aaron
Hi, I'm Aaron Bethom and I've worked with the team for around a year. I support the Youth Advisory Group in Liverpool South and Liverpool East and also do lots of work with the Youth Council. I am also involved with supporting forums such as GYRO which is a group of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning young people and also the looked after children forum.
One of the best things about being involved in the team is helping young people to reach their potential and also meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds.
Sean
Hi I'm Sean and I've worked with the team for three years. I support the Youth Advisory Group in the Alt Valley area and help the team to run the Youth Council. I am also involved in supporting a group of local skateboarders in campaigning for a skate park in Liverpool and also helping to organise the Children's Advisory Group pilot in Alt Valley.
The things I enjoy the most about working in the team are bridging the gap between young people and adults, involving young people in decision making and carrying out research.
