Bullying

Bullying can happen in all sorts of situations: school, college, work, among families and groups of friends. You don't have to put up with bullying and the first step to take is to get support.

There's lots of advice and information about dealing with bullying wherever it happens from helplines and websites. These should provide you with support and help you to take steps towards telling someone who can help.

Bullybusters is a Merseyside based Anti-Bullying organisation which was set up to support and advise victims of bullying and their families. The website contains information and practical advice on bullying for children, young people and parents and also a message board allowing you to confidentially voice your feelings and experiences.

This website is really useful for young people who use social media. If you are being bullied through Facebook, Twitter or any other website there is advice on how to report this as well as instructions on how to stay safe on these sites. There is also a section about bullying at school and stories and advice from other young people who may have experienced something similar to you.
