Making a Splash this Summer!
The biggest summer event for young people in Liverpool kicks off again this year with an exciting programme of activities to get involved in. Liverpool Integrated Youth & Play Service have teamed up with a range of providers to host a diverse selection of activities in venues across the city.
This year young people can look forward to keeping active over the summer with sports and fitness activities including football, dance and swimming.
There will also be opportunities for young people to get creative through a range of arts and cultural activities - why not create your own work of art or meet new friends at a drama workshop?
There really is something for everyone this summer and activities will take place at youth centres, sports and leisure centres and libraries across the city.
Use the 'Find an activity' section to check the listings and find contact details, and don't forget to pick up your free copy of the 'Days of Possibilities' summer programme, available across the city.
Splash Evaluation 2010
Last year thousands of young people across Liverpool took part in Splash activities throughout the city, from swimming to arts and crafts. The Splash peer researchers interviewed hundreds of these young people to find out what they liked about the activities, which activities they had done and how Splash had made them feel.
